The Fall of the Last High King
The King's Crown
This was the name of the continent before the Events of the Cataclysm. Before, believe it or not, there was no evil nor suffering in the world. Peace and the abundance of food was found all throughout the lands of the continent. There was no pain, there were no tears shed from sad and unhappy faces, there was no mourning. The people at that time did not know, nor feared death for its shadow did not yet reach the continent. All inhabitants of this land worked together in harmony, if you will call it that, because in those days people had no need for work, the fruits of the earth were freely given to satisfy any hunger. All races lived together in good-will without fear of being seen as a stranger or outsider wherever they decided to venture.
The world lived in this peace for longer than the records now show, for at that time there was no need to record passed time.
This was until the Events of the Separation
Leading up to the Dissolution
Along Segarus' side was the beautiful Urilina, the queen of the High King.

Segarus was born from a long line of kings known as the heavenly wyrms. He was known to be the most righteous of his line and would always put his duty before his own health and well-being. His son on the other hand was a
...brat, he knew he couldnt leave the kingdom in his hands so he looked deep within ancient books for the key to longer life (read immortality) came across a dark ritual (that would eventually summon Ashara Sytara) but knew that even something as cryptic and sinister as this should be done for the good of the kingdom, the risks were to lose his own soul but his people were first.

The Dissolution
The last king was known as Segarus. He was killed and executed by a scandalized mass after being found to work alongside with The Enemy. His three most powerful Lords each made their own kingdom, splitting the continent into three. Alphonsus, the Lord of The North was mad and began war in his own nation against imagined foes where allies once were.
When all has been lost and but the soul remains, only then will a man's true self be revealed.
